Took off to Tathra for a camping holiday - kids came over and packed things on the roof of the new Audi A3 with some new racks Lindy had bought. Aimed to leave around 4pm but overslept a little and left at 5:30AM. Went down Warrigal Rd and onto freeway. Stoppped at Pakenham for BP petrol, drove thru to Barindale for trad brekky at McDonalds. Then on to Bega for some bus tickets for Steph, then into Tathra , picked two campsites (one campsite was $36 but with 2 extra adults it was $68 per night! For an extra $4 a night opted for 2 campsites.
Beautiful warm day, about 30. so we through down a tent and headed for the beach. Water was warm! Had some fish and chips on the beach. Spent ages at the beach and came back to set up a 5 man and 2 x 2 man tents and pump up the airbeds.
